Makenol is an emerging Haitian artist and lives in Haiti. Makenol has pursued art ever since the day he took his first pencil from his uncle Jonas Profil on March 12th, 1998.
Inspired by his cultural and spiritual roots, he has gradually developed his own style, picturing a surreal vision of rural life in Haiti, where nature and humans live in synergy. Due to his unique fineness, Makenol benefits from a fast growing International recognition.
He has exhibited in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, the USA, France and the UK.
